Hi Michael,

If they have the UserId and Password to the FP site and admin privileges they can publish the site down to any HD folder.

You don't even need FrontPage. There are several utilities out there that will "capture" an entire
website.

Directory browsing should be disabled. If not, you could easily grab
content that is not directly linked to. If directory browsing is disabled,
there is no way to get a file to which there isn't a direct link. In order
to download a resource, you have to know what resource to ask for. ;)

whether there was some kind of technology/ program that is use that will see
"everything" on a site whether it's linked or not.

I thought there were programs that will find it "all" whether it's a linked
file or an orphan.

thanks Jim,
I thought there might be some kind of program out there that would get it
all whether or not it was linked.

Nice seeing you around!

Chris,

Unless the program could access the directory contents it would not know where the files live. It's just not possible using a Web
URL and the HTTP protocol to do.
