Life and web page design are a series of tradeoffs!
The tradeoff to accomplish what your question says is
increased loading times for the images that represent
your web site in the exact format you want.
It is up to you to decide if that tradeoff is worth it. I
would personally choose the option to let the user have
the ability to change font sizes over increased load time.
10 seconds to load a page (400dpi b/w tiff @ 56K) isnt
too bad. Don't b&^%* because you don't like the results.
