Hello
We are in a bit of a bind - our project server admin left, and I am stuck
with this. One of the other administrators didn't know the MSProjectUser was
used in Microsoft office Project to connect to the SQL Server for Project
Server 2003. In any case, whenever a user tried to "open" a project (reads
fine from DB), selects one, we get the following error message 1st:
Microsoft SQL Server Login
Connection Failed:
SQLState: '28000'
SQL Server Error: 18456
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Login failed for user
'MSProjectUser'.
Ok - so then we get prompted for the password, and yesterday just typing it
in (overwriting) at least got us in to the project selected.
NOW - for some reason, even that is not working.
When we enter the new password for MSProjectUser, we get the following error
message:
Microsoft Project
An unexpected error occurred.
The document table could not be opened. Contact your system administrator
for the database.
Help!!??!!
We are dead in the water - any and all suggestions or workarounds for this
would be greatly appreciated -
