Login Error for MSProjectUser

Hello

We are in a bit of a bind - our project server admin left, and I am stuck
with this. One of the other administrators didn't know the MSProjectUser was
used in Microsoft office Project to connect to the SQL Server for Project
Server 2003. In any case, whenever a user tried to "open" a project (reads
fine from DB), selects one, we get the following error message 1st:

Microsoft SQL Server Login
Connection Failed:
SQLState: '28000'
SQL Server Error: 18456
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Login failed for user
'MSProjectUser'.

Ok - so then we get prompted for the password, and yesterday just typing it
in (overwriting) at least got us in to the project selected.

NOW - for some reason, even that is not working.

When we enter the new password for MSProjectUser, we get the following error
message:

Microsoft Project
An unexpected error occurred.
The document table could not be opened. Contact your system administrator
for the database.

Help!!??!!

We are dead in the water - any and all suggestions or workarounds for this
would be greatly appreciated -

You need a copy of the Edit Site tool to correct this problem. Download it
from www.microsoft.com/downloads Search for Site Editior and Edit Site, one
of these terms gives you the 2002 version which you don't want. The other
term returns the correct version. Install the tool on the server and run it.
Use the test button and then correct the errors.

Both of these replys were extremely helpful. We were able to reset the
connection, although as an FYI each user who has MS Office Project installed
on their desktops had to change the default for the Microsoft Office Project
Server Accounts, save it, close it, go back in, reset the default to the
original account, close it, open again and VOILA we can open projects now and
it doesn't prompt for anything.

Thank you so much everyone!
