Vista Project 2003 user getting SQL Server Login

We are running Project Server 2003 with SQL 2000 (separate db server). A user
upgraded their OS to Vista and installed Project Pro 2003. When they try to
open Project, they get a SQL Server Login dialog with the MSProjectUser Login
ID. The password is present, Use Trusted Connection is unchecked. They said
they tried checking it but it didn't make any differnence. In any case, they
couldn't get any further. Is there a Vista setting that needs to be modified?

Thanks

Make sure that the PS URL is in the trusted zone and that the IE setting
"Access data sources across domains" for the trusted zone is set to allow.

To clarify, the user(s) could open Project 2003 and get to PWA, but when they
tried to accept updates into their projects from PWA, that's when they got
the SQL login & subsequent error.

The problem turned out to be the Vista Windows Firewall. It is enabled by
default & we don't yet have a GPO in place to turn it off. It may be possible
to configure the firewall to allow the default SQL port of 1433 so that it
can be left on, but I haven't tested that yet. The bottom line is that once
we turned off the firewall, the PM's could accept their updates without
getting the SQL login or connection error.
