LOL @ Publisher Viewer

As many times as I've seen requests about a publisher
viewer, it would seem a good request to Microsoft to put
on the Publisher packaging that there is no viewer
available. At least every purchaser of Publiser would know
immediately. Microsoft could even suggest that the
purchaser buy an additional Publisher package for anyone
he might want to send Publisher files to. Hmmmm--seems
like a good marketing tool to me. Can I have a nickel for
every time that has been asked here?

Considering viewer code is fully available, and has been for so long, all it
needs is to be put into a separate Viewer program. Does seem a bit
inconsiderate of MS not doing it.

One of the excellent features in Pub 2003 which is going to negate the need
for a viewer is the "Microsoft Office Document Image Writer"
From my trials and use so far of this tool, it is coming up a winner. This
means viewers for individual programs will no longer be needed.
