I am using PowerPoint 97 and would like to loop an
inserted video clip so that it just keeps playing and
playing until "ESC" is pressed. Any ideas?

When you "insert menu > movies > from file"

find and insert your video clip

Then right click the video clip and choose "custom animation" > "play settings " > "more options " "tick Loop until esc"

"More Options" is grayed out, so I am unable to select it
(?).

Ugh . . . never mind . . . you were right . . . they
inserted the movie as an object, not a "movie." Your tip
works PERFECTLY!!! Thanks.

I guess that's another reason why "insert > movie > from file" is the best option compared to all others...

Thanks for reporting back.

What version of PowerPoint are you using? What play options are you looking
