Loses formula when synchronizing list with Sharepoint

I have an excel spreadsheet that is linked up with Sharepoint. Whenever I
update the data in Sharepoint or on the spreadsheet I need to synchronize it;
however, once the synchronization is done, the formula on my spreadsheet
disappear. How can I prevent this?
