Lost Gantt Bars

I'm using Project 2003. I'm working with the Gantt View and periodically the
graphics (Gantt bars) stop displaying. Of course, scrolling to the right
does not find them.

Is there some toggle that shows and takes the graphics away?

I've found that minimizing the window and restoriing it sometimes helps.
