I just rebooted by WindowsXP Machine (running MS Outlook)
and got the error message that I need to run the "Inbox
Repair Tool". Thanks to some online searching, I was able
to find this tool on my computer ("C:\Program
Files\Common Files\System\Mapi\1033\SCANPST.EXE")
Unfortunately, I have no idea which file to run it on.
Back when I was on Windows2000, all my Inbox-related
files were labeled '.pst' and were in my c:\outlook
folder.
Now, I did a search for all '.pst' files and I didn't
find ANY files from within the last 12 months or so.
Did Microsoft chance the file extension for my
primary 'inbox' files? Are the files hidden? If so, how
do I find and repair all of my inbox data?!
Please reply offline with help, or with a pointer to a
web site that steps me through this.
Thanks!
