Mail Merge Pictures

I have office 2003 and would like to mail merge a short document that
includes my students (one on each different page). I have not yet set up a
data source.

I seem to remember years ago in MS Works this was an easy job, but so far I
have had no luck in 2003.

Can anyone explain to me whether it is possible or if there is a work around?

Publisher has a catalog merge that does what you want.

One thing though, is there a way of entering a picuture filename into Excel
using the mouse (i.e. not typing in the filenames)?
