mail merge

I am trying to do create a merge and Access 2000 data base into a Publisher
2000 project. The Access data base had 230 records but Publisher just
repeats the same record over and over, even when I actually print it.

Thanks in advance for any help!

It is a Publisher document. I don't remember what template I originally used
to make it. It looks most like (but not exactly like) a catalog. It is a
booklet of landscape pages. On each page I would like to printe 4 text boxes
of individual names and addresses.

To print a row of names as in a directory you are going to have to manually insert
them. Publisher 2003 has added a catalog merge, no help to you I'm afraid.

What if I were to print a page of address labels? Would I have to print an
entire page of all the same name and address?

I did try the same project in Publisher 2003, the preview showed the same
name over and over also. I was not able to print it, since that machine is
not mine and is not connected to a printer.

Do you think it is possible to do in Publisher 2003? Do you think a catalog
merge is more apporpriate than a mail merge?

Thanks for your help.

The Preview function shows just the "active" name. If you've merged more
than one, you get more than one. (Deceiving and frustrating, isn't it?)
