Mail Merge

Here's my problem:

I've created a Publisher file for using Avery 5163 lables.

As I'm creating the labels, I don't use the mail merge function because I
want to see how it looks first, so I put in a dummy name for the recipieint
(Jane Doe).

When I publish to Adobe .pdf (which is how I'm going to deliver it), I see
the 10 labels just fine with Jane Doe.

Now that I'm satisifed with the look, I open my mail merge database, put in
the merge fields for Jane Doe.

But now, when I print to Adobe, I get only ONE label in the upper left. Not
the other 9.

What is wrong? Am I doing something wrong?

Publisher 2003.

There is only 1 label on the design screen. I fill that in and then it
populates the other 9 labels when in print preview without the mail merge.

If I go to the registry (which I'm told never to do -- bad, bad things
happen there), will it still only show me 1 label on the design screen and
populare all 10 labels when printing to Adobe? Will that CHANGE what happens
when I don't have the mail merge feature on?

The print preview is a bug in Publisher, it will show all the labels being the
same.
