Mail merged but won't send to outlook

Hi,
I prepared a one paged letter and merged it with a test list of 8 people.
I have no problems with the design etc.
When I try to send it or click preview I get a message saying the disk is
full and Publisher cannot save into file.
I have no idea what it means since I'm not asking it to save anything and I
have a lot of free GBs on my disk.
Please help.
