Mail Merging Contact List

I have Outlook XP 2002 and just purchased Word 2003 because the error message
I got when I tried to do a mail merge in Outlook said I needed Word 2002. I
still cannot do a mail merge. It says I need the save version of Word.

Is there some reason you do not believe the message?
It is true.

As Russ said, believe the message, it's true.

What version of word did you have before? Did you try using the mail merge
in word (either your previous version or the new version)? It does work with
mismatched versions of Outlook and Word, provided you use Word's mail merge
menu.

BTW - this is one reason why we highly recommend upgrading the entire suite,
not just Outlook.
