Mail merging on a 4 up Post card using duplex printing...possible?

I have Publisher 2003...on Windows Server 2003 OS...and a duplex capable
color laser by Kyocera/Mita. No matter what combination of factors I seem
to try (preinter settings vs. or in combination with Publisher settings), I
am not capable of doing a 4 up duplex mail merge of a postcard on an 8.5 x
11 piece of paper...i.e., I wanted to print all 4 of the same side of the
postcard, and have their corresponding mailing address appear on the correct
quarter of the page on the reverse side of the full page. Is there some
easy factor I am overlooking? Is it even possible to print this way?
Hopefully I'm explaining it properly. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Brian

This is an issue with your printer settings. It has nothing whatsoever to do
with Publisher.

Why is it that I cannot get the "Merge to New Document" to show up with 4
different merged addresses???

Are you merging information on both sides?
When you print the salutation for Miss Smith, when you turn the card over, Miss
Smith's address will be in the opposite corner card.
You will have to change the database to something like this:
side1 side2
smith jones
jones smith
johnson brown
brown johnson

I'm attempting to duplex print these instead of trying to print all on one
side and then run them through on another separate print run. It appears
that there is no easy way to do a mass duplex printing of 4 up postcards.
:-(

You can duplex by inserting a page to the postcard. What you cannot do is have a
merge on both sides using the same database and expect the names to line up i.e.
Smith on the back of Smith. If your second side is simply information and all the
cards are the same then you can duplex.
