Make Outlook Today your default page

I purchased the new 2007 Small Business Office and when I click on Outlook
Today it is all blank. I already tried the help menu and still did not work.

right click on the outlook today folder (top level mailbox folder) and
choose properties. Look on the home page tab - is it checked to show it?
