Making my Publiscation Smaller

How do I make my publication smaller? Right now its at 50 MB, and I would
like to make that smaller if possible.

You have neglected to mention the most salient thing - the version. If
you're running 2000 or earlier, and using JPEGs, there is very little you
can do (save buy 2002 or 2003) as Publisher decompresses them before saving
the file.
