Managing linked Excel cells

I linked excel cell data to a project field no problem. The problem
comes when a row is inserted between existing rows into the excel
spreadsheet. This changes all the references to the linked fields in
Project and the values become incorrect. Any help here?

I'm afraid that's the problem with links! A more flexible, but more complex
solution is to write a VBA macro to read data from named cells in Excel and
update tasks in Project.
