Manipulating Menus

I have a DB that does not require any menus displayed. Is
there an easy way to have no menus displayed when the DB
is opened? Using Access 97', soon to upgrade.

Hi John,
By default, the database opens with just the
database container showing. No forms. If you have a db
that displays a form on startup and you dont want it to do
so, go to Tools...Startup and remove the form from the
combo box found therein.

You can use this:
DoCmd.ShowToolbar "Menu Bar", acToolbarNo
to hide the main menu. Just change the name to hida any of
the tool bars.
