I have created a front cover for a booklet using a Power
Point template. We want to bind the booklet and so i need
to have a wider margiin on the left hand side when it
prints. Are there any solutions to this?

PowerPoint's not really made for this kind of thing, but your best shot is
to use Notes Pages instead of Slides.

Choose View, Master, Notes Master.
Delete the text placeholders, then change the position and size of the slide
placeholder so that the notes page is laid out the way you want your booklet
cover laid out.

Then when you print, choose File, Print and pick Notes Pages from the Print
What dropdown listbox.

Alternate: Select the slide in Slide Sorter view, copy it and paste into a
Word document that's set up the way you want it.
