Mask a picture

I am using Publisher 2003.

Is there a way to mask a picture with an object in Publisher? For example.
I have a picture that is square but I want it to show through an oval that I
have drawn. I know in Photoshop and InDesign you can create a mask so that
the image only shows through the boundaries of the other object. However I
don't see how I can do that in Publisher.

Thanks for considering this.

I don't have Pub 2003 installed right now so
cannot verify but the following steps work in
the 2007 version.

Draw your Oval AutoShape.

Right click the Oval...choose...
Format AutoShape / Colors and Lines tab

Open the 'Color' drop window and choose...
Fill Effects / Picture tab

Check the box:
Lock Picture Aspect Ratio /
Select Picture button

Browse to and select the picture you want in
the oval / OK / OK.
