I am working in an environment where multiple projects are published on
Project Server 2003, and resources in the Enterprise Resource Pool are
assigned to multiple projects. Many resources are scheduled part-time on
more than one project.
In order for leveling to work accurately, I need to adjust the Max. Units
percentage on the Resource Sheet to reflect the percentage of the workday
that each resource can devote to that particular project. This works fine
(and leveling works fine) until I close and reopen the application. When I
reopen, the Max. Units value has returned to 100% (which matches the
Enterprise Resource Pool value).
I have also tried changing this percentage in the Resource Information
Dialogue, but the percentage here is always 100% when I reopen.
Is there a way to capture the percentage of time that an Enterprise Resource
is devoting to a particular project (at the project level)?
