mcafee blocking email

My ISP says my internet connection is working fine
although I get a message that I am unable to send or
receive. It seems to be tied to McAfee updates - and I'm
getting no emails at all! Help! Any ideas?

A couple of things to try:

1. Disable McAfee completely.
2. Try configuring Outlook Express and see if that
works - Outlook could be corrupt.

If you are using McAfee version 7, there is a known problem for which I
think they have issued a fix. Go to the McAfee support forums for
assistance.

Swen virus, all e-mails sent to my actual account will be deleted w/out
reading.
