Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup
You need to set up the Workgroup facility (search Help for "workgroup").
You'll have to run wgsetup.exe (you'll find it on the Project CD) on each
workgroup member's PC (no licenses required). This will give you an Outlook
add-in that configures it to
read and write the specific message format that MS Project uses to send its
assignments, etc, and expects in status update replies. You might also try
Help for "Outlook". When you've done that, you sent the assignments to the
resource and it will appear in his journal.
