Merge text stacked upon an object into one picture?

I placed a graphic (vinal record disc) then stacked text upon it via text
boxes. Can they be merged into one copyable picture?

It is 2003. When I clicked on to the image and then clicked the "Arrange"
tool bar, Group is not highlighted, I can read "Group" but it is just a shade
of gray.

You have to select all the objects you want to group. Hold shift and select each
object, there is a group icon on the bottom of the objects you selected, click it.
