I have a table of addresses in Excel, but when creating
labels through the merge program, the postal codes do not
appear on my labels, but they do appear as a field code in
my preview.

Please help.
What is going on??

Thank you,
Connie

Hi Connie,

You've lost me :) Let's start with the version of Word so
that I can at least picture what you're looking at.

OK, so you set up the labels with address information. Are
you displaying the data in the labels by clicking the <<ABC>>
button? And you're not seeing the zip codes?

But then you go to print preview and you're seeing a {
Mergefield Zip } (or whatever) field code? But only for
zipcodes?

I'm sorry I can't answer your question, however, I need
to bother you and ask you how on earth did you get your
labels to create in word from Excel addresses in the
first place!??. since I've been trying to do that for an
hour now. I always get <<New Record>> or <<Address Book>>
but not the actual information on my labels. Please help.

Thank you
