Hi Jeff,
I've got a database with a variety of queries. I want to
do a mailmerge, but when I go to connect the list not all
of the queries are present. What would cause one query
not to show outside the database itself?
The answer to this does depend on a certain extent to the
version of Office involved. Unfortunately, you don't mention
that...
The usual cause is that the type of query is not supported
by the selected mail merge connection method. Or permissions
are lacking (you're not the "owner", for example) so it's
excluded from the list.
If you tell us which version you're using, and go into the
SQL view of the query and copy/paste the SQL into your
reply, we may be able to give you a more accurate
explanation. (Or perhaps not, depending

)
you might also try using a different connection method (DDE)
if this is Word 2002 or 2003. More information in the Word
2002 section of my website's mail merge FAQ...
