Mic Office will not install - what do I do?

We just had our hard drive wiped, and now we cannot reinstall Office 2000
Pro. It gets so far, and then just stops. I thought about downloading a
demo to keep us going, but to download it you seem to have to go into another
Microsoft application to start off the download, and since we don't have
anything on the computer except aol, I can't do anything! Windows XP.
Anyone know?
