Thanks Microsoft. I downloaded your recommended OFFICE
update and as a result totally lost my address book in
Outlook as well as all inbox messages. Did you guys just
fall off the turnip truck?

PEBKAC most likely. Did you look for any files with a .pst extension? What
version of Outlook/Office and what patch did you download?
