Microsoft Document Imaging how do I save the picture as a jpeg so.

I am a newbie! Help please. I scanned a picture and then cropped it. Now I
need to be able to save the picture as a jpeg and have it go to the "My
Pictures" file so I can email it to others.

Save the image, open it in Paint and save as...
Microsoft Document Imaging saves only as .tif.

Use MS Picture Manager for photos instead of MS doc imaging. Install it from
your Office disks if it's not on your computer.
