What is your version of Entourage?

Thanks..

I followed the exact same instructions but I can not get connected to
the server. I am pretty confident that I have the accurate "server"
and "public folder" names. I have also tried connecting through my PC
and it works. So it can not be my password nor my log-in ID... Any
other hints?
Some wise man told me that the server admin might have blocked the
SMTP port and without it the Entourage won't work. Does this make
sense?

Yes, I do see the certificate in the X509Anchors in the keychain app.
I did also use the first aid command in Keychain, but my Enturage will
not connect unless Safari is active??

I'm not sure who your question was meant for (the one about not connecting
unless Safari is active). So, is that the case, that Entourage will not
connect at all unless Safari is active?

Along those lines, do you ever use Web-based e-mail on this account? Does it
work okay? I ask because Entourage lets the user enter either a Web-based
URL or an Exchange server.

Everything is up todate. Checked once again today..

With the Office Auto-update app??
Then it probably is.... I'm running out of option :-( The fact that I
can't reproduce the problem here doens't make things any easier. It's
difficult to find a solution when I don;t experience the issue first
hand :-(
