Microsoft Outlook - Missing Recent emails!

Someone I work with has Outlook setup with Subfolders under the Inbox. He
says that all emails after 11-03 or 12-03 in these folders are gone..
Anything before it remains! Is there anything that could cause this? I
cannot find any answers.

Prelimary, I would check the following

This may be obvious but I have seen it when the view was changed to something other than showing all messages e.g. last seven days, by catergory or flagged messages

Also, I would check to see if any rules are setup that may be affecting the mail delivery. Not sure if you have an exchange server or not, but if you do I would check to see if the mails has been changed to deliver to a personal folder

Let me know if any of these resolve the issue. If not, I will assist futher
