Microsoft Project Resources

Hi there:
Specifically, I would like to set up a view where I can take overallocated
resource's tasks and move them to underallocated resources. I can not figure
out an easy and simple way to compare resources tasks in order to do this.
For example, lets say I have a team member named Nate and one named Adam.
Nate and Adam can do the same tasks and work the same hours. Nate was
overallocated and therefore Adam has been recently assigned to the project.
How can I reallocate tasks EASILY? In resource usage view, it is difficult
to compare the individual hours breakdown for resources side by side in a
manner making them easy to move from one resource to another.

First have you set your 'max units' in the Resource Sheet? Once this is done
overallicated resouces will turn red in the resource useage. Although you
can't make resource changes here you can see when the over allication ocures.
Also go to View>Reports> Assignments> Overallicated Resources.
Hope thishelps.
