I need to create a hold point [point limiting activity] within project. This
will allow for suspension of activity until agreement or review has been
completed.

Hi

In 2007 there is a "Lock tasks for Updates" functionality that might
just do the trick. It Locks a task so that
no updates can be done on that task until you open that task again.

Hello oily,

I'd create a milestone (zero duration task) called something like
"Review complete". Set the milestone as the predecessor to your
other task(s).
