How many different versions exist?
From what year?
If I have 2000 how will that communicate with newer editions?
If someone has a newer edition will they be able to open my 2000 files as
needed?

Hi,

2000-2002-2003
2007 is expected to be released YE2006
2000-2003 are fully compatible so no problems to be expected
2007 will have a different DB structure however.
