A task in construction- curing or the hardening of concrete (where in the
time that lapse, the concrete will gain strength) - requires 12 hours. If
that task falls during the night time, the non-working hours during the night
time in real life counts, as the concrete will still hardens. MS projects
however will normally exclude those night hours as it consider night time as
non-working hours.
How do you overcome this (ie. count the night time hours as part of the 12
hours required for the concrete to harden.

Hi Max,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

Elapsed time is designed for this. Put a "e" before the Duration: eg 12eh
will give you 12 elapsed hour irrespective of the calendars or working
times.

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at
this web address: http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)
