Minimize all windows

In Windows 2000 taskbar there is a button to return to the desktop. In XP
you need to right-click on the task bar. Is there a button that I can add to
have it act like 2000.

Oops..I know this isn't a XP forum..if you can give me the link to that I
would be most appreciative.

There is a Show Desktop icon in Windows XP, just as there was in Windows
2000. I believe that it shows up by default in the Quick Launch bar.

Thank you..I did not have the Quick Launch bar "launched".

Just hit Windows + M (if you have a windows keyboard). It's even
quicker.

Better still is Windows+D. This not only takes you to the desktop but is
reversible (restoring all your windows to the same arrangement you had
before). In contrast, see what happens if you press Windows+M twice.

Thanks guys..they both work great. Windows+D is a toggle that will restore
the windows you had previously.. works better than what I originally asked
for.

Gosh, I learn a new thing each day. I guess I must still be young!
It's enough to make one wonder how many other things that I do could
be done more easily in another fashion. I guess that's why I cruise
the newsgroups.
