My wife and I each have a new Intel iMac. Both of us have lost our
address books in Entourage in the past 2 weeks. 3 email groups that I
created remain intact as a group but all the individual contacts are
gone. The really strange thing is that I also lost all of these
addresses in OSX address book at the same time. I searched files in my
library and found a file "addressbook.dat.previous". I renamed it back
to "address.dat" and all my addresses in both programs were restored.
The only thing missing is my assignment of Categories. Does anybody
know how I can keep this from happening in the future?
