Missing character in file name

Hi all,

Strange problem. There is an attached file named ABC&CDE.xls in the mail.
When open it directly with Excel or save as, the file name become
ABCDEF.xls. The "&" is missing!!

Only one PC have this problem. Other can open and save as ABC&DEF.xls.

Please help.

you are referring to.

English Office 2000 w/ SP3 on Chinese Windows XP Professional w/ SP2

Since you're using Chinese Windows I suspect it could be an issue with
your operating system rather than Office. Since I'm not familiar with
using mixed languages I'm really not sure. :-(
