Missing Graphics

For some reason my graphics and Wordart have disappeared. They reappear ifl
I select the place where they should be and move it slightly. I have
confirmed that the Picture placeholder has not been selected. I have never
had this problem before and it's driving me mad. I've tried everything.
Is there any help out there?

Try reducing the hardware acceleration setting in Start | Control Panel
| Display | Advanced | Troubleshooting.

I had exactly the same issue with line drawings and found the problem to be
the video graphics driver. I suggest you download the latest from your
boards manufacturer. I did and problem resolved. By the way, I tried the
latest download from MS and that was the driver that caused the problem. Be
sure and also check directly with the video card mfg.

I had exactly the same problem. It is a video graphics driver issue. I had
to download from the mfg (Intel for me) and not from MS. Solved the problem.
