Missing "History of past task changes"

On the PWA interface the following
three items are listed under "Actions" on the "Updates
page as menu options:
- View task changes submitted by resources
- Set rules for automatically accepting changes
- View history of past task changes

Prior to taking a short leave of absence I had the ability to view all of my
project update history from my resources. Now there is no history at all.
Is there a switch somewhere that another person with ADMIN priveledges may
have hit? Another member in my work group had to take ownership of my
projects temporarily - was this the cause? Is there any way to get that
history back? the "inside and out" book is not indepth enough.

The Project Server administator has the ability to delete the task updates
history older than a certain date. Have you asked your Project Server
administrator about this? Let us know.

Deletion was not the problem. it turns out that when another manager takes
over a project they recieve all the notifications of changes to tasks and
then i lose my history of changes until i retake control.
