missing menu item

I don't seem to have view > from field

in my outlook office 2003.

why would this be and how do i get it back?

it requires that you are in a message window, like a new message or a
reply/forward.

No it isn't. I am using Outlook with Exchange server /SBS2003.

I don't know how to view that field when using Word as your mail editor.
Deselect Word as the mail editor, open a new message window, click
View>From, close the new message window and reenable Word as your mail
editor. The From field will be available then.
