Anyone been able to figure out why sometimes replies are missing?
What happens is that I email someone. (HTML, or text, I have tried both)
The person replies.
In outlook, the "autopreview" function, and the little task bar window
that appears when the message first arrives, shows the first couple of
lines of the response.
However, if I open the message, either in the reading pane, or in a full
open, the reply is not there. My original message is there, just no
reply.
If I view the message on either of my mail providers (my email goes to
usa.net, then to bellsouth.net), using either of their services, the
message is fine.
And, if I forward the message back to usa.net or bellsouth, I can read it
again on the web.
Just for grins and giggles, I set up Outlook express. It was able to get
the message with no problem. So it appears to only be in outlook.
Both my wife and I are having this issue, on two different machines,
using outlook 2003.
Only pattern we have seen, is that all of the problems seem to come from
people replying with an alltel.net address. But not all of the alltel
addresses have the problem.
