More "Checkbox" tag symbols?

I wanted to try to find new checkbox type tag symbols, or find another way to
signal that other types of tags are "checked"....I have lots of "action
items" in my notebook, which I have categorized, so I am using a different
tag for that category, but the checkbox tags don't have enough variety to
easily tell them apart...I can use multiple tags, but then when I
summarize/search for tags, I get multiple references to an item. It is
important to be able to "Show only unchecked items" otherwise the list will
be too big, or full of immaterial things...Is there a source for more symbols
or can I import checkboxes from somewhere, if so how would I do that, and
still be sure that they work as tags? Is there another way to do what I want?

The list of available Tag icons is hard-coded into the product and there's
no way to add 3rd party icons to that list.

For what it's worth, I agree that it's confusing to have check-able/checked
and uncheck-able Tags as part of the same feature - they should *all* be
check-able or somehow separate reference Tags from "to do" Tags and give
one of them a different name.

My workaround is to just make sure that the Tags have meaningful names and
not rely too much on the icons.

Do you do realize there are 27 different checkbox tag symbols?

I would call it nine different symbols in 3 colors....The challenge is simply
that they are not necessarily easily discernable from one another, and given
that I am using about twenty of them already, it is a challenging to tell
them apart sometimes. Jy "Tags" toolbar on the left is cluttered with
identical checkboxes, so I find myself incorrectly tagging things fairly
often, and then when I search the tags, things are not getting dealt with....
