moving between word and power point during slide show

I am doing a presentation in ppt about word and would like
to actually illustrate the concepts in word - how do i
insert a word document or toggle to word during a slide
show?

You can toggle between any open program on the
Windows OS by using ALT + Tab. Hold down the ALT
key on the keyboard, then hit the tab key. Each
time you hit the tab key, you will toggle through
all open programs.

Start Word and get it set up to taste before starting the slide show.

Alt+TAB will then let you cycle among running apps.

Insert a browser and set the navigation to your word doc. Then you can have
seamless Word functionality within PPT.

ALT+Tab will move between functions but it can get confusing as you will
find that you have two PPT icons open during a show plus icons for Word + as
many Word docs as you choose to open - and navigation becomes very public;
fine if it is informal, not so good otherwise.
