You can't.

Not only that, depending on the flavor of Office, you may need to
repurchase it as some flavors are only good for the specific machine it came
on.

if you have the original product key (you can find it from the machine that
is running office now if you use this key finder program)
http://magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder/

then see if someone you know has the same exact office cd, and make a copy
of it, then use YOUR key with that cd.

When I say the same exact type I mean that.. you cant use a different
version of the cd.. it must be the exact same

The way to find out what you have is to go to word then HELP and ABOUT

or else you must order replacement media... from Microsoft

hope this helps and check out my blog http://computerboom.blogspot.com

I think you will find that key finder doesnt work with all versions of
Office (Office2k?)
Not only that but I believe an early version of Office is being used and MS
does not have/supply replacement media for early versions.
Only Office2003 and above is fully compatible with Vista, versions earlier
than that will have various problems under Vista - notably Outlook problems

Prior to Office XP SP1, the key is not stored on the system. NO
keyfinder can locate something that doesn't exist.
