Moving Office XP to another computer

Hi,
I have Office XP Pro on my desktop and am retiring that
computer. I would like to move Office XP to my new laptop
computer. How do I do that? I think that XP's
registration is online, and when you register it links
your registration to your computer's hardware. So, would
I be able to remove Office XP from the desktop and move
it to the laptop?

Doesn't the EULA say that you can install OXP on both your desktop and your
laptop? There should be no trouble with installing it on your laptop.

Yes, unless it's the Student and Teacher's edition. Then "Me" can use the
telephone method of activation if there's a problem activating it on the new
laptop.

Either way, there's no need to "de-activate" it on the other machine.
