Moving or copying PST files

I am trying to copy (or move) my old e-mails to my new PC, but am lost on how to do it. I created a PST file on the old PC, but can't figure out how to actually get the e-mails over to the new machine. I am now DESPERATE! Any help will be appreciated.

Copy the .pst folder(s) to a disk and place them on your
new pc. You can pick the folder of your choice.
After copying the files simply add them through Outlook as
personal mail folders.

After removing the "Read-only" attribute.
