moving to references

I use cross references a lot in my work and continually move back and forward
between them. In Word 2000 I used to be able to move back to the previous
cursor point by hitting the "back" button on the Web toolbar. The "forward"
button also did that.

This does not seem to work in Word 2003.

How can I move back and around in the document to a reference point without
scrolling to the point I need?

Hi Ed

Try Shift-F5. It cycles through the last few (3?) cursor positions.

Thanks.

That doesn't work as word does not seem to recognise the cross reference as
a cursor point.

I will complain to MS.
