MPEG2 & wav

P

Peter Kertesz

Could someone help me please.

I am trying to drop an MPEG2 file and the associated wav
sound file into the same slide in PP2003.

Is there any way that they can both play at the same time?

I have tried but failed so far.....

Many thanks - Peter

Peter,
What you want is to set them the second one on the Custom Animation list to
"With Previous". In other words, if your custom animation list shows the
start for the video first, then set the wav to "With Previous". (If you are
looking for where to set this, go to the custom animation pane and look for
the "Start" Drop down. (It probably is set to the default "On Mouse Click".)

Post back and let us know if this does what you need.

Thank you for your suggestion Kathryn, but have you tried
this option?
I have and it does not work in this instance.

Either sound or video comes on first.

Any other ideas?

Many thanks - Peter

I think I have got it now!!!

I highlight each element of the clips once the Custom
animation is open and do it that way.

It seems to work.

I am sure that is what you suggested, but I had to
translate it first.

Thank you for your help.

Best wishes for Christmas - Peter
